From football games to holiday parties, fall manages to put some very diverse events on our social calendars. Being a great fan of dresses, I’m always considering fun ways to wear my frocks to any function. The Phase Eight dresses available from House of Fraser have just that sort of diversity. Phase Eight is memorable for their gorgeous detailing, from chic lace to marvelous prints, and their fall collection showcases that beautifully. I love the vibrant personality in the brand and the way it brings a multitude of styles under the umbrella of its core aesthetic. There’s a great variety of shapes and concepts, especially within their selection of dresses. Browsing through, you get the idea of the possibilities, of the different looks you could achieve with a wardrobe full of dresses. Taking a nod from Rachel Zoe I mixed these classic pieces with a fur stole, chic cap and bold jewelry to make a statement that illustrates classic glam with a boho twist.

A practical shoe balances the fun prints of these dresses; pair with a neutral clutch and a scarf for a bit of eclectic flair. You could also pair them with leggings and tall leather boots for a look that’s a bit more dressed up.

Pairing a blazer with elegant dresses makes for an artsy combination. These two dresses speak volumes on their own so I love the concept of wearing some unexpected statement pieces with them.

Again, the dresses do all the talking with their gorgeous color. I took inspiration from Mad Men’s Joan Holloway by adding a long necklace that subtly adds dimension to the look. A peplum jacket and updated Mary Jane shoe keeps the vintage feel alive.
