Inspired by…Chloé comme Parris Fall/Winter 2012

September 12, 2012 · 3 comments

The fall collection from Chloé comme Parris is having a moment in my life right now, and it’s definitely going to have a place on my fall style inspiration board (minus the real fur, naturally). Although the label’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection just recently showed as part of GenArt’s Fresh Faces of Fashion event (see photos here) my mind is rooted in the fall with New England’s recent burst of autumnal weather. There’s just something about this particular collection that grabs me. It makes me think of a woodland warrior princess for the steampunk milieu. And when their jewelry collection consists of both the rugged Castle Ring and the streamlined City Ring you kind of feel like the line can encompass just about any sort of design it wants to. The designers behind the brand are Canadian sisters Chloé and Parris Gordon, who also happen to be cute as buttons (I mean, really). I’m so excited to see what these girls continue to do.

These photos are from the Chloé comme Parris Fall/Winter show at Toronto Fashion Week, but you can also find this season’s and past lookbooks on their site and shop the collections (Fall doesn’t seem to be available yet, but you can follow their Facebook for updates).

Oh, what heaven. I’ve been obsessing over neutral palettes lately. I seriously love the detailing on the last dress!
